Upon getting addicted to "Bubbly" I persued to find out the artist. It was refreshing to find all the songs on the cd worth listening to. I hate when artists have a one hit wonder and fill the rest of the cd with noise. This cd is not the case. More of the songs in this cd are getting radio time. Though she is a new and upcoming star, she has potential. Her music is warm, alive, soothing, and from the heart. She reminds me of Norah Jones, Donna Lewis, Sophie B. Hawkins, and Sheryl Crow when they started. Colbie's music is very much her own style and not a copycat/me too artist. Very good music for a warm sunny day with the windows/top down and miles of asphalt to chew up. Great, too, for a winter day lusting for: the snow to melt, toes in the sand, a warm breeze, and Spring that cannot come fast enough. For now, we must wait for her second cd. I hope it is as good as the first. If you like "Bubbly", you are sure to enjoy the entire cd.
