Bon Jovi is a hard rock band originating from New Jersey.
Fronted by lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, the group originally achieved large-scale success in the 1980s. The band has continued its success as one of the world's most popular and successful rock bands throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
Bon Jovi has sold more than 40 million albums in the United States and over 120 million albums worldwide. The band has played live concerts in major cities in Canada, Asia, Europe, Australia, South Africa, and South America, in addition to numerous U.S. cities.
As of June 19th 2007, Bon Jovi have released ten studio albums, two best-of albums, one live album, and one box set. Bon Jovi's biggest selling album is Slippery When Wet. The band has had seven number one albums on the European charts, six number ones on the World Charts, three number one albums in the USA, five number one albums in the UK and seven number ones in Australia, as well as many number one albums throughout Europe, Japan, Canada and Germany.
The group won its first Grammy in 2007 for "Best Country Collaboration" for "Who Says You Can't Go Home". Bon Jovi had previously been nominated for four other Grammy Awards, two for their 2000 smash hit "It's My Life", one for "Everyday" , and a fourth for "Misunderstood".

Korn (sometimes typeset as "KoЯn" to fit their official logo) is a Grammy Award winning, influential nu metal[3] band from Bakersfield, California, and are often credited with creating and popularizing the nu metal genre. Former band-member Head stated that their signature sound came from an attempt to emulate Mr. Bungle's guitar tone, which they referred to as "the Bungle chord". Along with other bands of the time, they have also inspired many nu metal, alternative metal and rap metal bands through the mid-1990s and early 2000s. Since their 1994 self-titled debut album, Korn has sold over 25 million records worldwide, including 16 million in the United States, making them one of the best-selling metal acts of the last fifteen years.[4] The band's catalogue consists of five consecutive Multi-Platinum Studio albums (including the compilation album Greatest Hits, Volume 1, a live album, and an MTV Unplugged album) in the top 10 of Billboard Top 200 best selling albums. To date Korn has scored 6 Grammy nominations, and won 2 such awards. Jonathan Davis has entered Hit Parader's "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Vocalists" list peaking at #16 [5], James "Munky" Shaffer and Brian "Head" Welch are #26 at the list of Guitar World's "100 Greatest Metal Guitarists".[6]
As of 2006, Korn have had an ever-changing lineup. There have been quite a few touring members who left over time. Original guitarist Head left for "spiritual" reasons in early 2005, and original drummer David Silveria is on a hiatus from the band.

Blige, Will.i.Am, Steven Tyler, Bo Bice, and a batch of others step up, tugging a listener into territory marked less by "Oye Como Va" than by an obsession with VMA-worthy performances. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Songs like "Twisted," with Anthony Hamilton, and "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love," with Los Lonely Boys, find the original Latin guitar god grooving in a vein similar to the one that caused charts to explode and careers to scrape the stratosphere when he teamed with Rob Thomas for 1999's "Smooth." Other tracks, including opener "Hermes" and the aptly named "El Fuego," sound more authentically Latin--a nod to the faithful. The master comes closest to meeting his match on track nine. If there's an heir to the guitar-hero legend spawned by Santana, Eric Clapton, and others, pedal-steel whiz Robert Randolph makes a powerful case on "Trinity" that he's it. -Tammy La Gorce
